This process consists of clearly outlined steps, with a Mintel Consultant guiding them from start to finish.
The first stage consists of brainstorming and gathering sources of inspiration to further investigate. At the end, you will have clarified those ideas you feel you could best exploit and that are most suitable for moving to the Evaluation stage.
Here we will help you evaluate the market, assess consumer intelligence, analyse potential competitors and develop positioning. This will help you move towards pack design, and decide to remove certain concepts leaving you with the best one (or more) to drive forward.
A range of rigorous tests and result interpretation will take place throughout this final phase, helping you grow a clear understanding of and the strengths and weaknesses of your chosen concepts. You will emerge being able to make a confident, intelligent decision on which product or products to then launch.
